In defiance of Italian DOC (Denominazione di Origine Controllata, “controlled origin”) classifications, Tuscan producers deviate from the mandated regulation to create the best possible wines using only the best available grapes regardless of varietal or location. Today, some Super Tuscan are among the most recognized and sough-after wines in the world.

The Da Vinci Sto Ippolito is an Ultra Premium Super Tuscan consisting of 50% Syrah and 50% Merlot. It is deep scarlet red in color with flavors of red fruit, vanilla, black pepper, spice and toasty oak
